I work for a Japanese electronics company and they outsource production into China as well. Our Japanese company also has company dorms. This approach would never work in America as US employees want Saturdays off. The Asian ability to manage supply chains also far exceeds US capabilities.

I think it is far easier to link the death of coral around Indonesia to El Nino, not global warming. Check the history of the Great Barrier Reef suffering from coral bleaching and the years when El Nino events happen and you will see a correlation.

HP got a $50B bump in Stock price under his watch that benefitted HP employees and shareholders. What he did was unethical but HP handled this the right way by paying him $28M to leave otherwise they could not recruit talented management to come to them in the future.
